BLAKE SHELTON GRANTS YOUNG GIRL’S FINAL WISH WITH PRIVATE HOSPITAL CONCERT IN 2025

BLAKE SHELTON GRANTS FINAL WISH OF YOUNG FAN WITH HEARTFELT HOSPITAL PERFORMANCE IN 2025

 A HEARTWARMING ACT OF KINDNESS

In March 2025, country music icon Blake Shelton took a break from his busy touring schedule to grant a young girl’s final wish. During his “Friends & Heroes” Tour, Shelton visited the Jimmy Everest Center at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine, where he performed a private bedside concert for 12-year-old Emily Harper, a terminally ill leukemia patient.

Emily’s only wish was to hear Shelton sing her favorite song, “God Gave Me You,” live. Her family reached out to hospital staff, who coordinated with Shelton’s team to make the dream come true. Shelton, who has a long history with the center, having donated $600,000 in 2016, didn’t hesitate to help. He personally rearranged his tour schedule to fly to Oklahoma for the visit.
