In his analysis, The Guardian expert Simon Tisdall drew attention to Donald Trump’s behavior, comparing him to historical dictators. The columnist emphasized that tyrants will eventually fall, although for Trump it is a matter of time, even though his policies are damaging global stability.
Tyranny and its fall
Tisdall emphasizes that all dictators sooner or later leave the stage, and cites examples from history when famous tyrants, such as Iraq’s Saddam Hussein and Serbia’s Slobodan Milosevic, received just punishment.
“Tyranny is always fueled by greed and inevitably leads to a sworn enemy. Tyrants must be overthrown. Their fall is a saving grace,” the columnist notes.
However, according to the expert, it would be wrong to compare Trump with previous dictators. According to him, Trump is even more dangerous than other leaders on some issues because of his ability to harm the most vulnerable segments of the population.
